Qualissol develop, implement, monitor, and verify landmine and unexploded ordnance (UXO) clearance operations using proven management systems that ensure the delivered end-product meets or exceeds current international industry related safety and quality standards.

Qualissol have particular experience in developing programmes that are specifically designed to mitigate the risks posed by Explosive Remnants of War (ERW) found within Construction and Oil and Gas Industry projects. ERW primarily consist of landmines or other types of UXO found in post-conflict environments, and may also include Chemical and Biological Agents.

Qualissol also has proven experience in the verification of areas that have been cleared of ERW during post-conflict contaminated land remediation activities, and have within their ranks qualified ISO 9001:2000 Quality Lead Auditors and Internal Auditors. Qualissol can therefore provide their Clients with total end-user confidence by ensuring rigid implementation of recognised international standards, including ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14000, and the International Mine Action Standards (IMAS).

Qualissol has gained experience in many parts of the world including The Middle East, Europe, The Russian Federation, The Balkans, and Africa. Their consultants have worked under some of the most challenging and potentially dangerous conditions found anywhere, and together they have pooled many years of combined knowledge in planning and managing the safe removal and disposal of landmines and UXO in both commercial and humanitarian environments. This experience includes third party compliance monitoring of activities being carried out by other landmine and UXO clearance organisations, with specific focus on their Health and Safety, Environmental, and Quality Management Systems.

The carrying out of bomb disposal (Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD)) tasks, and the training and monitoring of local personnel in landmine removal (de-mining), EOD, and related Quality Control operations also forms part of the Qualissol scope of activities.
